Designing Your Computer Game


New game developers create gamer stats that are only focused on the skills that the character would require throughout the adventure or game. However, if the player stats are all concentrated to skills, then how would the character overcome a challenge? For example, the character has different skills. Usually, a game developer would think that every challenge in the game will be beaten by the character if a certain skill is great enough. If there are challenges that require different skills, the gamer will be obliged to select whether to utilize the best skill of the character or the skill thats most fitted to overcome the challenge.
But, skills are not only to be used in a game. A good computer game must oblige the gamer to make a decision on what to do as frequent as making the decision on which option will function best. Aside from skills, you can still add some more stats as a good productivity tool.
Incorporate Morality CharacteristicsOblige the gamer to encounter some moral problems, wherein the common morality rules seem to disagree with, and follow the answers of the gamer with the morality scores. There are computer games that are rich with morality traits, which allow the gamers to select between like:
Humility
Spirituality
Honor
Sacrifice
Justice
Valor
Compassion
Honesty
Provide the gamer with 200 gold, or 5 magic potions, or even any other type of resource, while asking the gamer to make a decision on how best the resources must be used. A general resource is the number of wound that the character could take before it dies.Incorporate Gamer Stats with Regards to the World
Almost all stats on the game screen are simply about the character. However, it is also good to incorporate some other stats which the character could influence and which are not simply personal traits. For instance, you might include stats with regards to other characters that are non-players, which include some skills as well as personality characteristics, and their relation to the primary character. You could also incorporate stats with regards to culture and society as good productivity tool; is the city turning more evil or good? How much resources are consumed? How much amount of time had passed?
Gamer stats with regards to the world are a very essential productivity tool that some individuals think that gamer stats are actually a little portion of the computer games "world model" or "world simulation". In the end, the character is a little portion of the world of the game.
