Curiously, it does not appear to be an issue with those playing the console version of Rage. Could it be that id is now slipping into the convention of catering to the console audience? It is, after all, a much more lucrative market these days.That company is called id Software, the maker of such cult classics as Doom and Quake. Even in a world where gaming is being overtaken by consoles, iPhones, and casual titles, id remains faithful to its hardcore audience.
This isnt just a story about a computer game that failed to live up to expectations. It is symbolic of the massive shift that the video game industry has undertaken in the last several years. If a company like id has more satisfied console gamers than PC gamers, that tells quite a story.

Far Cry 3 savegame problem cant continue load game
Far Cry 3 wont load savegames [SOLVED]
If you experienced problem with Far Cry 3 savegames and cant continue, there is only option "New Game" then you may follow these steps. I was mad and tried all, wondering how the hell I can fix this savegame thing and bam here it is.1* Tested and works with Far Cry 3 [RELOADED]
|read comments if nothing helped someone may got the same problem|
- [dont forge to download those files, seems like a lot of you havent read the whole instructions theres more and its kinda important to make it longterm .. just sayin and goodluck]
2* Install the game (it doesnt matter where)
3* when you finished do not use the patch but copy/crack/overwrite files with "1.01 patch" crack files
4* now go to your firewall (this firewall) and block these files: far cry3.exe, farcry3_d311.exe, fc3updater.exe and basically everything, just prevent the internet connection,
5* now run the game as admin
6*
it wont say "connection failed" this time it will just log in "succseded" and you also cant get ban (ubisoft actually knows what is pirated and what is legit so they deleted all savegames and in future they encrypt the legit ones and call them .save and pirated are .sav)
7*now you may try to complete the first mission to see if it saves (after you run forest) and now to prevent the losing savegames thing
Here are save games - defeating citra and entering second island. (working DLC The Lost Expedition)
